Thank you for being a member of Pocklington Tennis Club. This page will help with the next steps and give details of how your membership works.

Membership Types

Adult

Adult, 65+ & Intermediate

Adult memberships run from 1st April – 31st March. If you have paid in advance, your membership will become active on 1st April.

Under 18

Junior & Under 10

These run from 12 months from the date of application. Payment is made online and membership is activated immediately.

Payment Options

If you have paid online by credit or debit card, there is nothing more to do – your account will already be marked as “paid”. If you chose another option (BACS or standing order/monthly payment), then please read the relevant details below.

Available to: Adults, 65+, Intermediate, Junior & Under 10

The online membership system allows for full payment to be made via credit or debit card. Once this payment has been made your membership will be active immediately for both under 18 membership types and for adult memberships if the season has already begun. For for adult members who have signed up in advance, your membership will be activated on 1st April.

You can use bank transfer to pay the full amount of your membership using the details below. Your membership will not be valid until we have received payment.

Once you have made payment, please send a screenshot or another form of confirmation to david@pocklingtontennis.com. Alternatively we will verify it when we next check the bank account statement.

Please use your name as the reference so that we can quickly identify who has made the payment and we can allocate it to your membership.

Available to: Adult (excluding 65+ & Intermediate)

You can set up a standing order/monthly payments directly with your bank using the details below. For 2020/21 membership, this will be 12 payments of £13 commencing on 1st April 2020.

Once you have set up monthly payments, please send a screenshot or another form of confirmation to david@pocklingtontennis.com. Alternatively we will verify it when we next check the bank account statement and the first payment has been made.

If you are unable to set up a regular bank payments yourself, please complete this standing order mandate and return it to the david@pocklingtontennis.com – however this method is not as quick as setting it up yourself.

Court Booking

Courts for private use must be booked in advance using our online booking system. As a member, courts are available to you at no additional cost, however floodlights, when they are required, will incur a charge. The times that floodlights are required are reviewed regularly and the system will be updated as daylight hours change throughout the year.

The booking system uses the same account details that you used during the membership process. Read more about how to use the booking system.

Booking is not required for club nights/mornings.

How to book

Guests

Members are welcome to invite non-members to join them for a private court booking, however there is a fee of £5 per guest per hour (or pro rata).

Junior Coaching & Tennis Camps

To ensure that we have emergency contact details and information about any medical conditions, we require a Junior Sign Up Form to be completed by a parent/guardian for every junior (under 18) participant of a coaching session or tennis camp.
